The EAA Chapter 856 is based in Flagstaff, Arizona.  The organization helps students become immersed in aviation.  “Thunder Over Flagstaff” started in Valle, Arizona and moved to the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport.  The air show gives potential pilots aged 8 to 17 years old a free introductory flight with the group’s licensed pilots.  Proceeds from the event send candidates to the EAA Air Academy Camp in Wisconsin.
