Flagstaff Pulliam Airport

Pulliam Airport

The Pulliam Flagstaff Airport is a small airport located in Flagstaff, Arizona. It serves as a major transportation hub for residents and visitors alike. It offers both commercial and general aviation services. Originally built in 1928, the airport has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years to accommodate the growing demand for air travel in the region.

Today, it features a modern terminal with rental car services, a restaurant, and gift shop. The airport is served by American Airlines which offers flights to major destinations such as Phoenix, Dallas, and Los Angeles. This makes it convenient for travelers to connect to other cities and countries around the world.

Can you fly into Sedona?

Airport Close to Everything

Flying into Flagstaff is convenient if you are travelling to Northern Arizona.  Flagstaff is close to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Although it may be cheaper to fly directly in Phoenix or Las Vegas, driving several hours may not feasible due to the cost of gas, lodging or time.

Sometimes the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport is called the Grand Canyon Village Airport.  Although the Grand Canyon has an airport, Pulliam is the closest airport with airline services.  Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon is a 90-minute drive.  It is also possible to take a shuttle to the Grand Canyon.

Check the weather when traveling to Flagstaff during the winter months.  During snowstorms, flights may be delayed.  Also driving to other destinations, may be harder with road closures.
